I absolutely love cheese in any shape or form. Soft, hard, blue, creamy, holey, strong and mild. So what would be a cheese lover’s dream? A delivery of top quality cheese to the door of course. That’s where The Dairy Girl comes in, a monthly subscription of great cheeses tailored to the recipient that can be paused, skipped, up sized and downsized.
I received five cheeses from The Dairy Girl;
- Mrs Kirkham’s Lancashire
- Badentoy Blue
- Pont L’Eveque AOC
- Rachel
- Délice des Crémiers
They are all very different cheeses that it was nearly impossible to choose a favourite among them but if I have to it would be the Délice des Crémiers which is so so creamy, tangy, utterly delicious and in a fit of decadence I used it to make a Cheesecake.

My next favourite cheese out of the bunch is the Pont L’Eveque, another creamy cheese.
The cheeses were so good that I couldn’t bear to do anything other than eat them as they were, with crudites and crackers, I wanted to savour every morsel.
The cheeses come packaged in a box with tasting notes for each cheese with some history and background, advice on how to serve, and
recommended drinks to go with them. I can vouch that a glass of prosecco as suggested was perfect with the Délice des Crémiers and the cheesecake I made with it.

As well as getting a selection of cheeses every month the subscription also helps support World Vision’s Give a Goat scheme.
The cheese boxes come in three sizes; Small with three cheeses or approximately 600g of cheese, Medium with four cheeses, approximately 900g
and Large with five cheeses, approximately 1.2kg of cheese. Prices start at £19.95 plus delivery.
I think this is a brilliant idea and great value for money to get top quality expertly produced cheese that you wouldn’t necessarily get to buy normally. It is definitely something I would subscribe and look forward to receiving every month.
Oh my, what a perfect gift for my 11 yr old cheese fiend. Think it may have to be a SATS gift. She may well think she’s gone to heaven!!
Awww she’ll love it then! 😀
It looks lovely.
It really was…all gone now though! 🙁
