Now, no coming round and getting me locked up. I know I’m a bit, err, strange but I can’t help it! I have a lot of dreams, usually when I am feeling stressed. Most of the time I remember the dream when I wake up ready to write it down when I get a chance only to forget what it was about two hours later. I go to bed and then get a flashback of that dream, usually unpleasant, but not enough to write it down. I can’t remember the last time I had a nice happy dream.
Most of the time I can analyse my dreams myself, they are so obviously related to what is going on in my life. Thank goodness they’re not real otherwise, well I’ll leave that to your imagination. Recently I’ve had two awful dreams about Little M, both had happy endings, thank goodness but my heart still beats rapidly every time I think of them. They did make me wonder about how heavily I rely on him being there. Does anyone understand what I mean? He is the baby of five children, without having him at home I probably would have found coping the last two plus years a lot harder but I couldn’t cave in because I had this little baby that needed me so much. Yes, I know the other children needed me but not quite so much. I am aware that I am already dreading Little M going to school in September, I know that I am not alone in that feeling though. Hence, I can work out the meaning behind the dreams……
Last night I had a very very weird dream that I wanted to share. The children and I hatched a plan to steal, yes steal, Christmas presents from someone we know. Please don’t hold this against me! 😉 We got to the house, not one I recognise and broke in. The presents were under the Christmas tree and there were several large presents which we started filling the car with. It wasn’t my car, it was a large top of the range car and then I suddenly changed my mind and got a conscience. I told the children to put the presents back but they wouldn’t! They turned against me, Big H got into the driving seat and they drove off without me, all five of them. I was extremely worried because Big H is only sixteen, has never driven a car before but there he was whizzing off in this huge car. I then found myself having a coffee with my mum in a large shopping centre still worried about the children knowing via text messages that they are on a motorway now and it is dark.
Reading that back, I don’t need anyone to analyse this dream either…..oh dear, I think I need to get myself a life!
Anyone else care to share?? Go on, be brave. Or do I need treatment! 😉

Fascinating dream! I have loads too and mostly very strange ones. I know on the eve of my daughters 18th I dreamt I had a baby. No points there for working that one out! I think a lot of dreams represent issues over control or helplessness – mostly feeling without. I have one a lot where I am trying to get somewhere and everything is conspiring against me to prevent me from achieving this. Or I am trying to telephone someone and can’t dial the number properly (sometimes it’s a “old-fashioned” dial phone and my fingers get trapped!!!) This one is really interesting though. Hope you get some clarity on it!
Ooo, they are fascinating aren’t they. I expect i’ll have a few more weird ones in my time. 😉
How funny! I hope it wasn’t a preminition of next christmas! xx
Ooo, I hope not! 😉
Ha ha this did make me laugh I get loads of loopy dreams as
well, I don’t think there is anything strange about that
xx
I’m glad I’m not the only one! 😉
If that’s what gets you locked away – then it’s a miracle I’ve escaped being locked up. At least you dream – I don’t – ever. Isn’t that odd?
I feel I’ve had a better sleep when I haven’t dreamed. 🙂
Hehe.. Maybe your due to get a new top of the line car? Ha.. oh this made me giggle! Your not going crazy! I have plenty of loopy dreams! My other half thinks I need locking away too! :o)
Oh that would be good wouldn’t it! The car not locking you up! 😉
