….I ran 5K!!! Six weeks ago I said ,never ever…six weeks ago I started training….on Sunday 5th September along with thousands of other women I ran in the Adidas Women’s challenge in Hyde Park, London…yes ran!!! I ran all the way….I got a bit frustrated when stuck behind walls of walkers, literally running on the spot until I could slip between them but I ran. I didn’t even notice the markers until 3K and then felt elated for having done more than half way…..the next kilometre seemed to go on forever but the last one went by very quickly and easily.I finished in a respectable, well I think it is anyway, 39 minutes.

I’ve raised over £100 for Arthritis Research Uk too!

Also it was very lovely to see Very Busy Mama, SingleMummyNet, Kahanka, familyvie, Vegemitevix and London City Mum who were all running as well!!

  1. There seems to be a few spam comments. Is this a do-follow page?

  10. It was brilliant to see you afterwards, and to natter away! Well done. I think that’s a stunning achievement that you ran the whole way without training. Amazing stuff. But then you’re a pretty amazing strong woman. xx

  17. Yay for completing the course and hooray for RUNNING the whole way.

You are an inspiration for many. So happy we managed to meet up after. In hindsight we should have got a bottle of bubbly to celebrate!
