I have loved these boots from afar for many many months. So imagine my surprise when I popped into French Connection yesterday and they were in the sale….and both pairs that were left were in my size!!

Fate? I believe so, they just had to be purchased. Originally £140…..reduced to £63!

The leather is so soft and even with the skyscraper heels they are pleasantly comfortable to wear. I love the knot detail at the back, really cute!

I know a couple of my readers are avid shoe fans, you know who you are, so these pictures are for them.

It really was my day yesterday, and it was needed let me tell you, I’ve had an utterly crap week………

Guess what?

I went into my local department store looking for a fab new nail colour, never in a million years expecting they would have this!!

Yes you are seeing correctly no need to put on your glasses. I know, I know, you must be soooo envious…..how lucky was that?

For those of you that don’t know this is the hot little number from Chanel, it is virtually sold out, everywhere. Except, hehe, where I got it from. I bought it not sure if I would actually wear it, it is quite a statement colour- you either love it or hate it, knowing that I could easily sell it on ebay if I decided not to like it.

And here is the finished product!

And I do like it…..not sure it’s suitable for the school run but I noticed those envious sneaky looks at my nails while out on the town last night! ;0)

    1. Hi Nickie
I nearly ended up wearing on the school run….then I noticed a chip so it was hastily taken off with the remover…I hate chips on nails! ;0(

      1. Oh me too – but, I’ve mentioned before on my blog, I can chip 5-day-wear nail varnish within the hour so I tend to “top up” at the end of each day.

I’ve linked to your post on my blog – http://typecast2000.blogspot.com/2010/02/these-boots-were-made-for-walking.html
