I’m sure I am not the only person to get through packets of cleaning cloths every year? Therefore when Vileda asked me to try out their Sunsplash all purpose cloths I was more than happy to oblige. According to the packet these are long lasting reusable cloths suitable for use on all surfaces. The packet contains two large cloths, size 38 x 38 cm and can be used wet or dry. The cloths can also be washed in the washing machine at temperatures up to 60˙C

When we moved into our house six years ago we brought a lovely glass table and the house had gorgeous black granite worktops…oh my goodness, trying to keep them clean and smear free is hard work even with specialist cloths to do just that! So, I thought I’d put the Vileda cloths to the test… first of all I used one wet to get rid of the remains of the Sunday dinner stuck onto the glass kitchen table. The cloth was big enough to make light work of the job with just water and although very absorbent it didn’t leave pools of water on the table. This on it’s own is not enough for the table though because if you leave it there will be water smears left which is where my specialist glass cloths usually get used. I thought I would give a dry Vileda sunsplash cloth a chance though and was pleasantly surprised that it did the job just as well, leaving my table clear, smear free and sparkling clean. It had the same effect on the granite work tops too!

Retailing at just under £1 for the two cloths the fact that they can be used over and over again and washed to keep clean and bacteria free these are fantastic value for money. They wash up well and can be used throughout the house for all types of cleaning jobs. I will definitely be using these cloths from now on instead of the cloths I have been using with their short life span.
