I’m barely able to breathe let alone write a blog post. I have been working hard on a new project for a couple of months and fingers crossed all will be revealed this coming week…
Plus, putting a huge house on the market, looking after five children and going to London twice in one week is not conducive with anything else. However a couple of things that I did in London are worth mentioning.
First up I went to a Three.co.uk event for Mums on the Go. Hosted by mums including Denise Van Outen and Lowri Turner we were treated to various sessions on subjects such as how to make the most of your smart phone. Did you know that 48 per cent of mums in the UK go online in the middle of the night, or that 57 per cent spend over an hour a day on average on the internet? Yet 33 per cent struggle to find the time to sit down and go online, hence the middle of the night computing, I expect. Well, a large percentage of mums believe that having mobile internet on the go would save them at least 30 minutes a day and help them become more organised. Some smart phone apps were introduced to us and these are my favourite ones

Later that day I had the pleasure of meeting fitness and lifestyle expert Sarah Maxwell who is the new body in Nivea’s workout which is new downloadable content on the Your Shape XBox 360 Kinect game. Each workout is demonstrated by Sarah in the Nivea fitness studio. Already suitably impressed with Your Shape when I tried it out last year it is great to know that new content is available to stop the game becoming boring and stale if you do it regularly. I highly recommend it if you have an XBox 360 with Kinect. I came away with a great bag of goodies and look forward to trying out all of the Nivea products.
I have been trying to eat a bit more healthily recently, otherwise known as cut down on wine and chocolate, however when a few bags of Galaxy’s new Chocolate Caramel Bites dropped through the door I felt obligued to at least try one or two bags chocolates. Classic Galaxy chocolate balls with a chocolate caramel centre. Just believe me when I say they are good, very good. I’m not usually keen on filled chocolate, I like to keep it pure and untouched 😉 however these light, melt in your mouth balls filled with a soft caramel are delicious. Too delicious, damn you Galaxy I may like you too much!
Have a great week!

I couldn’t make the Mums on Three or the Nivea – such a shame because I haven’t seen you in such a long time. Hopefully we can catch up soon! x
I hope so too Maria, Cybermummy? You are going aren’t you? X
Oh those chocs look interesting although the apps sound fab too, but can’t wait to hear about your new venture sounds interesting! xx
Thanks Kerry. x
I was tempted by a bag of the galaxy chocs today and yes, delicious!
I know, too nice. 🙂
