We are lucky that we have a very big garden, although keeping on top of the grass cutting is near impossible and our poor unloved garden hasn’t had any attention for about six months. So, you can imagine how long the grass was, how many weeds there are and how hidden any plants that have actually bloomed are.
Anyway, with a lot of help from the children, and then family over the weekend, we have made a good start. A lot of sweat was shed and I may have briefly had a hatred for the colour green but the transformation has begun. Little M had great fun getting stuck in, he had been desperate to give his new beautiful gardening set a Christening.

Great photos Nova, I would love to have a big garden, but hopefully one day 😉 @Kahanka
yay! it’s so much fun when everyone mucks in 🙂
When everyone helps out it’s so much more fun! Nice catching up with you after so long!
Great photos Nova. I’m useless in the garden but I’ve tried to make an effort this year so F can experience it.
WHat beautiful photo’s! Looks like they where a great help!
Awww… this is so cute :D… your son is wonderful 😀
We all seem to have green fingers at the moment, hope everything grows for us all!
Bless. What a great little gardener!
It’s wonderful when you start to get it back under control and even better whe the whole family helps…my boys are good at starting to help but like their father when it comes to weeding they seem to rapidly go off the whole process!!!!
Great pics! With all this lovely weather we’ve been having your garden will be a green haven in no time, especially with the little helpers pitching in! 😉
Our garden definitely needs doing. We have a really big one too, but it’s very neglected ;(
Middle son does mow the lawn though 🙂
Aww what lovely little green fingers. It’s great to get them involved. x
I am so glad you got it all done and great that they all pitched in! Those photos are gorgeous, as always! 🙂
It’s such a great feeling to see the garden from all the weeds!
Such wonderful helpers too! Lovely photos
I’m so blessed that my Dad comes and helps me with mine, I hate grass-cutting and would rip the lot up if it wasn’t for Stella! So sweet that everyone got stuck in 🙂
It feels great when you finally go out there and do something, doesn’t it? Lovely photos!
Well done all, I’m sure the results are good.
Should you need any lawn care tips please feel free to visit our website, as above?
Good luck and have a cracking summertime:-)

Ah bless, what fun to take a new gardening set out and get it all muddy. Looks like a great time was had by all (perhaps, not the weeds?).

I love that everyone helped out (and especially loved seeing Little M doing his part! Such a doll). Yard work is always so overwhelming. We’ve got lots that needs to be done as well. And I’m exhausted just thinking about it all.
