It’s not very often we get to go out altogether as a family…..children of varying ages means they have different needs and interests, but you really can’t
go wrong with a zoo can you. We went to London Zoo to celebrate the Winnie The Pooh stamp collection by The Royal Mail. Ten stamps celebrating the tales of the lovable bear and his friends. They are really cute stamps. How lovely would that be to receive a letter with a Winnie The Pooh stamp on it? We were read two chapters from Winnie the Pooh and had a lovely lunch before heading out to see all the real animals.
We had a great day, (we’ll forget the hellish six hour 50 mile journey home where I was very proud of my children who were tired, hungry and had extremely achy legs 😉 )……Little M decided that the penguins were his favourite animal to see and I loved the giraffes and very cute otters. Thanks for a great day to the organisers!

oh my goodness how much does big C look like Mummy!
We love Winnie the Pooh. The stamps are so cute.
What amazing pictures, glad you had a great day – hopefully meet in person sometime! x
Lovely to meet you again (and your brood this time. Your littlest is *so* cute). It was a lovely day wasn’t it. Especially the fab weather.
Sorry to hear about your horrendous journey home. Took us an hour to get out of London but that may or may not have been our fault (I’m not saying!).
It was a great day wasn’t it!
awesome pictures hun! Looks like you had a great day! So sad I couldnt make it!
I took Ted here for his first zoo visit in the summer and it was hard work pulling him away from the playground to look at animals! I think the giraffes were my favourite too.
I love, love Winnie the Pooh! He was my son’s absolute favorite and he carried around a bedraggled Pooh Bear for years (that now currently resides in my closet). You are absolutely right, the zoo is fun for all ages! Looks like Little M enjoyed himself!
