I love autumn…..well the colours anyway. The leaves haven’t fully turned yet but there is something beautiful about the different shades of orange, red, pink and purple that can be seen at this time of year. We’ve been lucky and had a couple of glorious days, it’s even been very warm although not warm enough to dry the dew off of the grass. The ladybirds have been out and the mushrooms are popping up everywhere. I have never seen so many different mushrooms/toadstools in our garden. I think I counted at least eight different varieties and some look positively evil! Little M thinks it’s great fun kicking them down but I like looking at them and watching them spread and grow.

  4. I love autumn (and spring) here the colors are amazing – although extremely short-lived, it seems. Coming from Texas where it was always hot, cold for a minute and then hot again, we never had the definite seasons, so I try to enjoy each one. Beautiful pictures, as usual!
