I am always on the look out for healthy lunch box fillers so when I was asked to try these new apple and sultanas with a hint of cinnamon frusli bars from Jordans I jumped at the chance.

They contain 25% fruit, about 111 kcalories per bar, 21g of carbohydrates and 0.5g saturated fat.

There was a mixed reaction in the household……one child particularly liked them, but then she tends to like non chocolatey snacks. The other one wasn’t very impressed. I liked the taste very much, quite sweet and the sultanas are very juicy but I found the oats quite dry. They definitely have a place in a lunchbox…..I would much rather my children fill up on a bar like this for a treat than a bar of chocolate, although nothing is better than good old fashioned fruit!
