I have a very important date in a few weeks……my brother’s wedding.
Normally I would be frantic looking for the perfect outfit….never finding what I want, not finding the correct accessories but surprisingly I have stumbled upon all parts of my outfit when I was least expecting it. Plus…..it was all in the sales. I found the dress in Selfridges on a wonderful day out with three very fashion conscious bloggers- Wildernesschic at Life the universe and all that’s in it, Fab at Trying to Look fab in your Forties and Forty Not Out at Forty Not Out …it must have been their vibes rubbing off.
Here is the dress by Comptoir des Cotonners, that I got for less than half the original price-
I happened to bump into a collection of hair accessories whilst passing through another shop just the other day…..I was spoilt for choice and now I’m wondering if I should have bought a different one. I really couldn’t decide which one. They were all generously marked down too…
I went for this pale green one though-
And I found accessories to match-
And look at these beauties…Carvela shoes in the sale, love them, love them….very high but the platform sole takes some of the strain. 😉
I can’t wait to see my beautiful princesses in their bridesmaid dresses. Now I just have to think about what the boys are going to wear.
