We love an animated film here so the opportunity to get our hands on an early copy of The Nut Job was more than gratefully received. Snuggled up on the sofa on a cold Sunday afternoon with bacon sandwiches, a box of chocolates and a roaring fire, what could be better?

The Nut Job an action packed film about Surly, a mischievous squirrel, who must plan a heist to get into their town’s biggest nut shop in order to help his pals in the park gather food to survive the winter. Together with his sidekick, Buddy, he assembles a ragtag crew to help him get inside – and take them on a fun-filled adventure they’ll never forget.
In the words of the children watch out for our favourite bits, ” When Surly and Raccoon were on the log” and “When they blew up the mine”. There were certainly shrieks of laughter here, always lovely to hear.
