Ingredients
- 500g ready made puff pastry
- 400g tin of pear halves
- 6 slices of brie
- Maple syrup
- 1 egg beaten
- 6 teaspoons of brown or demerara sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180ºC/ Gas mark 4
- Unwrap the pastry and divide into six squares
- Place a piece of brie in the centre of each square
- Top the brie with half a pear
- Drizzle a teaspoon of maple syrup onto the pear
- Fold the corners of the square diagonally and twist to seal to make six parcels
- Brush the parcels with the beaten egg
- Sprinkle the parcels with the sugar
- Bake in the oven for approximately 15-20 minutes until the pastry is cooked and golden brown
- Optional...hide any brown bits with a sprinkling of icing sugar! 🙂
