Who doesn’t love a big chunky cookie? We were sent a selection of cookies from Byron Bay Cookies to test out and the children have been scrabbling around trying to get the first taste of each one.
The cookies are free from artificial colours, flavours and preservatives, made using free range eggs and are approved by the Vegetarian Society. The gluten free cookies are approved by Coeliac UK.
There is ‘Dotty’ a cookie covered in coloured chocolate drops and full of chocolate chunks.
‘Triple Choc Fudge’, my favourite, is very chocolately, soft and crammed full of white and dark chocolate chunks and pieces of fudge. If you like chocolate this is definitely the one I recommend.
There are also lots of cookie choices with nuts, I particularly liked Fig and Pecan which is very figgy, soft and sweet. White chocolate chunk and macadamia nut is also very very tasty.
Another great combination is ‘Sticky Date & Ginger with Walnut’ it is spicy, soft, chewy, oaty and very filling.
These are top notch cookies and being the greedy piggy that I am I enjoyed their chunkiness which means that one is more than enough.
Not only is the normal range vast, thirteen flavours in all, there are also five gluten free choices including my son’s favourite ‘Dotty’. It is great to be able to give my son something that his siblings are having.
For more information you can find Byron Bay Cookies on Facebook and Twitter.
Byron Bay have given me the opportunity to give two selection boxes of cookies away.
