I was sent this really lovely bear last week from Vertbaudet who have partnered with children’s charity UNICEF to produce them. The partnership between Vertbaudet and UNICEF has financed the immunisation of over 600,000 children in Central African Republic. Vertbaudet donate £1 which is the equivalent of 20 vaccinations each time an item from their UNICEF range is bought, including the cute bear above. If you are going to be buying a cuddly bear or an item of clothing for your child wouldn’t it be great to know that you can also help many many children at the same time that deserve just the same chance as we have all had. I think it’s a great idea and wish more companies would do the same.
