What can I say? Give a four year old, and dare I say it a twelve year old, a Peppa Pig Party Time app for the ipad and you may see them a couple of hours later. We were asked to review this app and I have to say it has been a big hit. Sounding exactly the same as the popular television programme for pre-schoolers with, you will be pleased to know, that ever so catchy theme tune.

There are six games to choose from;

1. Invitations
2. Making party bags
3. Let’s make a cake
4. Musical Chairs
5. Pass the Parcel
6. Pinata

There is also an option for the child to make a party photo album for Peppa Pig.
Little M especially loved making the birthday cake and Big C was very impressed with this game. The graphics and options are really good.

All of the instructions are spoken which is ideal for pre-schoolers and makes the games easy to follow without the help of an adult or older child. This is always a bonus for us. I wouldn’t say this was especially educational, there is no counting involved or learning of colours etc but then that would limit the age range it is aimed at and sometimes it’s good to just have fun.

Colourful, jolly and easy with lots to do this should keep all young children amused for hours and I would highly recommend it.
