I was hoping for a very exciting guilty pleasure to share with you but I have had a very restrained week although lovely too. I suppose you could say that escaping twice from the bubble I live in to head to London was my biggest guilty pleasure. I always feel slightly guilty leaving the children but I try and treat it as ‘work’ *Cough* to make myself feel better. Silly really isn’t it. I am sure no one would criticise me for going to the theatre especially when I have been given the tickets, but I still have this deep feeling that I should always be there for the children when they come home from school or to put them to bed. However, I think it does us all good. I get a break, even the train journey is a pleasure, three hours to spend reading in virtual peace…bliss, and it means that I am happier and have more energy to give the children. I think most parents are guilty of putting themselves last. Make a pact with yourself this week that you will do something for you and come back next week and tell me all about it.

I knew there was something I forgot to do this past week – pencil in some guilty pleasures! I’m sorry I have none….. but I LOVE that picture – it is amazingly gorgeous!
What a stunning picture!
I love this picture and have just shared it on Twitter. I think my guilty pleasure, as weird as it sounds, was sitting in the lambing shed last night. I sat there for 2 hours assisting a ewe as she was in labour; it was incredibly peaceful.

Happy to add my recent guilty pleasure purchase (British too!) and I look forward to seeing others do the same.
have a lovely day
