We were invited to a lovely family day out at London Zoo with Vosene. Do you remember Vosene? In my childhood days I used Vosene and had to have a whiff of the shampoo on display  just to take me back…it smells the same. Mmmm.

Along with a delicious lunch we were treated to Cookie decorating, hand prints, face paints, fancy dress, magic, card making and nannies galore to keep the children entertained so that I could chat with the other bloggers there and not have to worry about the children. It was bliss and it felt like a real treat so thank you Vosene you really did make my day and we didn’t want to leave. Although we had a little stroll around the zoo nothing could better the time spent having fun earlier in the day. I know the children will talk about it for a long time.

Vosene are searching for the Vosene family of 2011, the winners will be chosen by their charity partner The NSPCC and will get to choose one of three completely different holidays worth up to £10,000. Vosene realises that not every family is the same so the winners will get to choose either a holiday to Disney in Orlando, a safari in the Masi Mara or an activity holiday in Kos. Each month a family is chosen to go through to the final and will win a different prize.  April’s prize is a year’s supply of professional cakes and May’s a professional photo shoot.

We were a little concerned about Rocky the Rock Hopper penguin who decided to climb up a …rock! He was so close to us that we could have picked him up and some inconsiderate people were trying to touch him so we didn’t get much further than watching him really. London Zoo are building what looks to be an exciting new penguin home though and we hope that we can visit again soon to see it.
