Last weekend I took four of the children, ages 13, 11, 7 & 3,  to Santa’s Magical Kingdom at Paddock Wood Hop Farm, Kent. The minute we went through the gate we certainly did enter a snowy covered magical kingdom. The children were even asked to help decorate the kingdom with baubles on the way through which I thought was a lovely touch.

I don’t want to spoil it in case you decide to go but my children loved it. All of them! They didn’t want to leave. Big C said it was absolutely brilliant. We spent well over two hours in the Kingdom, the time really is action packed including a 4D cinema, a stunning forest of lights, reindeers, writing letters in the Post Office and a lovely North Pole with a cute Yeti. All of this culminating in a meeting with the big man himself, Santa Claus. Santa Claus knew each child’s name much to their surprise and gave them all a lovely gift. We then made use of the facilities in the hop farm including a soft play area, carousels and the Magic Factory which was full of weird and wonderful interactive displays. Initially it does seem expensive to go, especially for large families but you can easily spend the whole day there, we were there all afternoon but you certainly get value for your money.  If you can go I would thoroughly recommend it, they really have thought of everything and seeing the little ones faces is priceless.Tickets can be bought here
