This week’s Gallery theme is ‘To paint a picture of the world we live in’
A special part of the world for me is the sea. I am fascinated with it….I never tire of looking at it.I love the way it moves, the way it sounds- gentle and soothing or crashing and threatening. It is ever changing and so much about it is still unexplored. I am in awe of the creatures that live in it. It is no secret than one of my ‘do before I die’ wishes is to see Blue Whales in ‘the flesh’. I know how and where to do it, and one day I will. The sea really is one of the mysterious miracles of life.

You have Venus hair, (The birth of Venus, Botticelli) and she rose from the sea, maybe redheads have a goddess like affinity with the sea. Also, if you really have put on enough weight to not have any clothes…doesn’t that just make you more like his Venus?! You see – it’s just your inner Goddess shining!!

You get to look at the sea every day I expect? Very envious. You wouldn’t get me in the water with those rays either….I keep well out of the way of their sting.
Gorgeous photos. I’m a bit obsessed with the sea, I suspect it’s as a result of coming from the West Midlands – probably as far away as you can get from the coast!

They were taken in the Maldives. . I really wish I was brave enough to dive but I’m not. :0(
I love the sea – especially the sound it makes – the crashing of the waves… and if there are pebbles, the sound of the water running through it. So peaceful.

Beautiful pictures! I love the beach as well. As for the creatures? I do enjoy seeing them at an aquariam….not so interested in getting up close and personal with them, if you know what I mean. Glad you were able to snag a little bit of internet time this morning!

definitely a sign…. I loved it, very beautiful and tranquil. We went on our own too….even the long childless flight was a luxury in itself! ;0)
