This photo was taken in January on one of the rare sunny evenings we had during very heavy and prolonged snowy weather which caused us to be snowed in for six days. I love the way the sun bathes the snow in orange light.

That is stunning. You can almost see your breath in front of your face and feel the icy air nipping at your face. I loved the snow too. Maybe if we keep getting more of it we’ll be able to live with it more easily. 😀

Wow! That’s stunning! We caught the sun looking like that last weekend. Sadly the rest of the scenery wasn’t so pretty – the M6, out of a moving car doesn’t make for such a great picture!

Such a beautiful photo, and yet….it makes me sad. Why is that? Maybe because the days are so short and I can see the darkness coming…crap, don’t tell any passing psychologists!
Awww, don’t be sad. Are you not in the UK? I will go and have a look. The clocks change here soon which makes the evenings longer…phew because I have just about had enough of long dark nights. And don’t worry about the psychologists….ssshhh, I wouldn’t want them trawling through my blog .;0)
