Okay, so my children may not be spending the day with me but never one to deny myself this is what I have planned. A day of self- indulgence to the max!
Little M woke me up an hour and a half later than the last two days…..result! So it may have been 7.30 am but still what a treat after the last two days. I put the television on hoping that I could snooze for a little longer. He jumped on me,several times, especially my boobs which always has me screeching in pain and kept saying in his exceptionally deep voice, ” I’m sooo ungry mum!” ( no spelling mistake there, that’s what he says) I knew Big C had something planned so had the dilemma of what to do. Should I get up and feed Little M who is just so hard to say no to or should I wait for Big C to do whatever she had planned?
Then Big C and Little I appeared asking me what I’d like for breakfast. How much milk I’d like in my tea, what they make the tea with……..Big H (15) gave them more instructions from his bed. Well, he is a teenage boy! They gave me croissants- delicious. And, a great cup of tea.
Big E appeared and they all, except for Big H ( repeat-well he is a teenage boy!) appeared with a big pile of cards and presents…some bought some home made- beautiful.
Big H eventually materialised with my favourite- a huge bar of dairy milk and some Ferrero Rocher!
And……I don’t have to cook for anyone or do any taxi service, I have the whole day to myself to do with it whatever I like….sleep, eat, play! ;0)

Sounds like a lovely day. My teenager didn’t materialise until almost mid-day LOL. The 4 year old was up with at 7.30am too. Who can resist a little one telling you they love you at that time of the morning.

My god, sounds fantastic. I’ve spent the morning playing Cluedo. It was Scarlet in the spa (ours is obviously a new version) with the axe just in case you were interested.
