Inspired by Wildernesschic’s posts about her beautiful home, I thought I would do a similar series on my home. I’ve concentrated mainly on the  textures and fabrics used.

I have started in my bedroom which has two huge nearly down to the floor windows looking at different aspects of the garden and another smaller window.

So stroll through my bedroom, touch the delicate fabrics and enjoy the wafts of Jo Malone‘s Lime Basil and Mandarin candles.

I fell in love with the curtain material, on the top right, a long time before actually getting around to decorating the bedroom. I had the walls painted in Farrow and Ball’s ‘Stony Ground’.The top left fabric has been used for the dressing table stool and for a bench at the foot of my bed.

Here we have one of the four lamps in the room- Silk and Glass

My bed- silk, velvet and satin. The throw is from the White Company.

I have two of these antique chairs, newly covered with the fabric on the bottom left in the collage above. They stand either side of my dressing table- Linen and velvet

And there is glass on my dressing table-

Finial- wood

Bench at the end of my bed, cream rug on the dark oak floor.

The dressing table with one of the views behind it-

Fabrics used in my bedroom include Mulberry Home, Larsen and Zimmer + Rohde. Credit also to Evernden Interiors.

  1. Can you give me an update on when your next post may be. Is there an auto sign up section for it?

  2. Nice work, thanks for the post, we members of your fashion marketplace are grateful for your work. I was born and raised in Los Angeles California and have been operating inside the market for the majority of my life. One of my existing projects is really a discussion board for that fashion business. I am grateful to come across this post.
