Chocolate Cornflake Easter Nests

Ingredients
  • 40g butter
  • 100g chocolate (we used milk chocolate)
  • 3 tbsp golden syrup
  • 100g cornflakes
  • 36 mini eggs
Instructions
  1. Line a 12 bun hole tin (or muffin tin) with paper cake cases
  2. Melt the butter, chocolate and syrup slowly in a large saucepan over a low heat stirring.
  3. Remove from the heat and add the cornflakes and stir gently ensuring all the cornflakes are coated in the chocolate mixture
  4. Add a spoon of mixture at a time to each cake case and when all the mixture has been evenly distributed press down in the middle with your thumb, finger or if you have a wooden dibber thingy that so that some of the mixture is pushed up the sides of the cake case to make a nest
  5. Add three mini eggs to each nest and then chill in the fridge for a couple of hours until set
