Do you find in the winter that you don’t drink as much water? It’s sometimes hard to fancy anything other than tea or
coffee, or even hot chocolate when the weather is a bit grim isn’t it. Have you ever thought of warming up some squash though instead? When I was growing up my mum used to always make us hot lemon with Robinsons lemon squash, I have to admit I wasn’t the biggest fan but there are so many different flavours to choose from nowadays that there is definitely something to please everyone.
There are a whopping eleven flavours in the Robinsons range, quite a few more than when I was a child…
Lemon, Orange, Apple & Blackcurrant, Summer Fruits, Orange & Mango, Orange & Pineapple, Lemon & Mango, Orange & Raspberry, Pinapple, Mango & Passion Fruit and Apple Blackcurrant & Cherry!
It is just as important in the cooler months to still drink water, but it doesn’t have to be plain or boring…
How do you keep your water intake up at this time of year?
I’ve made this mulled apple & blackcurrant drink that is not only perfect for warming you up, getting more water into the body (especially good if you’re suffering from a cold), but also a great alternative to mulled wine, ideal for the designated driver…or a more grown up drink for the children.
