This month’s Baebox Teen subscription box and why it’s good for teens to receive positive and inspirational messages…
My daughter ‘I’ turned 14 yesterday…she is funny and sassy, a fabulous singer, she is calm and generally a very happy soul. She is also the lucky recipient of a Baebox Teen subscription box every month. It’s funny how the month seems to go ever so slowly now, waiting for the next box of fabulous goodies to arrive. ‘I’ hasn’t failed to be delighted with the Baebox Teen subscription box; slowly opening the box and peeling away the tissue paper to reveal each gift in turn and reading every single positive, motivational and inspirational message on specially printed out cards (my absolute favourite part of the box).
Teenagers are under so much pressure nowadays, they have so much to worry about- doing well at school, peer pressure, and the way they communicate with their friends is so different to when I was a child…oh, and social media, well as much as I’m an advocate of it, it also has a lot to answer for. Apart from telling my children to only ever put things ‘out there’ that they’d be happy for the world to see, I also remind them regularly to remember that what they see/read is a snapshot of someone’s life, and has most probably been embellished and in some cases is not real life at all. I think when they see a picture I’ve taken which looks uncluttered, and makes me out to be some kind of domestic goddess (of which I’m about as far removed from as can be) whilst our house is in absolute chaos all around it, they realise how true this is.
What’s in this month’s Baebox Teen subscription box?
When ‘I’ receives this box of goodies, just for her, with great age-appropriate products perfect for the experimental phase of a young teens life every month, I can see the boost it gives her. January’s subscription box went down a storm… I took photos but was not happy with them (the dark winter weather) and when I went to take more I was too late as the products had already been used, that’s how much ‘I’ loves them! I honestly don’t know how they do it, included in January’s box was a gorgeous water bottle and a super super cute Oh K! panda cosmetic bag.
So in February’s Baebox Teen box was a green tea & mango face mask, cranberries & cream bath tarlettes (which we all wanted to munch on as they look so tasty), sticky notes, a beautiful jar with lolly sticks in just waiting to have positive thoughts and ideas written on them, a really cute love heart tin and of course the little messages. ‘I’ was thrilled with the jar…I can’t wait to see how she uses it.
Believe in yourself
We all want our children to be happy and have the confidence that they can…what that is doesn’t matter, as long as it’s safe and makes them happy and fulfilled. But, with all the pressures of life this can sometimes get overlooked, so they need to be reminded that when they believe in themselves they can attract miracles. Receiving special, printed, motivational messages on cards is a great way to reinforce this positive thinking and help make them feel good about themselves…
- believe, achieve, succeed
- believe you can
- an obstacle is often a stepping stone
So, whilst we love the Baebox Teen subscription box (so much) for the age-appropriate beauty and cosmetics, stationery, fashion and lifestyle items it contains, we are also a lot in love with the positive messages it brings too.

We are receiving the Baebox Teen subscription box for the purpose of reviewing, but all words and opinions are my own, and we’ll be subscribing in the future, we love it that much!
