These Baileys Chocolate Pots with Baileys Cream are a decadent dessert that literally take only a few minutes to put together, yet taste soooo good.

Baileys Chocolate Pots with Baileys Cream- Cherished By Me

I’ve used biscuits and nuts to give this dessert another texture but I’ve made this recipe plenty of times without it and it is just as delicious, so if you would rather not use them don’t.

This is such a rich dessert that you really don’t need anymore of the chocolate mixture but double the recipe up if you want to serve it for six or eight people.

Baileys Chocolate Pots with Baileys Cream recipe…

Baileys Chocolate Pots with Baileys Cream

Ingredients
  • 150ml double cream
  • 75g dark chocolate
  • 2 tbsp Baileys
  • 2 digestive biscuits (or other favourite)
  • 30g hazelnuts chopped
  • 2-4 tsp Baileys (depends how strong you like it)
  • 100 ml double cream to decorate
  • 1 tbsp Baileys
  • 20g toasted whole hazelnuts to decorate
Instructions
  1. Put the cream into a pan and heat very gently until simmering
  2. Remove from the heat and add the chocolate
  3. Stir until the chocolate has melted and the mixture is smooth
  4. Add the Baileys and stir until well mixed
  5. Crush the digestive biscuits (put in a food bag and crush with a rolling pin or the back of your hand) add the nuts and mix
  6. Divide the biscuit and nut mixture between four dishes
  7. Spoon over either 1tsp or ½ tsp of Baileys over the biscuits in each dish
  8. Next spoon the chocolate mixture into the dishes
  9. Chill in the fridge for at least an hour
  10. Whip the cream until holding peaks, add the 1 tbsp Baileys and whisk until mixed
  11. Use the cream to decorate the chocolate pots and finish off with the toasted hazelnuts
  12. Enjoy!
