A delicious vegetable lasgane cheese postie

I get quite a lot of opportunities to review some amazing things but unfortunately time dictates I can’t do them all, however when I had an email about a new business called Cheese Posties I couldn’t pass this one by. After all, who doesn’t love a toasted cheese sandwich.

Cheese Posties? Yes, a subscription service of cheese on toast with each box fitting conveniently through your letter box, meaning no missed deliveries, and containing freshly baked bread from Mayfield Bakery (which is Rod Stewart’s local by the way), delicious cheese, pickles/preserves/condiments, butter, a Teflon toaster-friendly bag and a collectable trumps style ‘toast card’ explaining the ingredients and taste profile.

I love this concept and the toastie I was sent tasted great! It was vegetable lasagne flavour so came with two slices of bread, a portion of butter, two types of cheese and a vegetable lasagna sauce. At first I thought hmmm not much cheese but actually it was perfect once toasted!

Subscription grilled cheese sandwiches, get your cheese on toast in the post!

The company has an ever growing menu of exciting flavours taking meals or desserts and turning them into sandwich form with flavours such as French Onion Soup, Jaffa Cake, Chilli Con Queso, Chocolate Cheesecake, Italian Ravioli, Strawberry Shortcake and many more. They have 22 flavours currently active and over 100 more in development.

What really stood out for me though is that they offer gluten free bread, plus they can do nut free sandwiches, meat free only items and the choice of just sweet, just savoury or a mix of everything.

Suffice to say I think this is a great idea, I have even sent a subscription to my son (who can’t eat gluten) at uni. With the toaster bag it means he can use the toaster in his halls of residence kitchen.

Subscription price weekly is £3.99 with discounts for longer subscriptions, and obviously they can be gifted too.
