Apparently 79% of women in the UK blame rain and cold weather for making them feel unproductive, and it doesn’t help that only 39% of these women eat their daily allowance of fruit in the winter, so Florida Grapefruit are trying to encourage people to get more fruit into their diets.
Carin Leenders de Vries has developed three grapefruit recipes for Florida Grapefruit; Grapefruit Heaven, Red Sunshine Shake and Sunshine Grapefruit Smoothie.
Florida Grapefruits are nutritious and high in vitamin content but for some reason I have never thought of blending them. What a great idea.
