Okay, okay before you get too excited…I am in love with something that I can’t wait to see when I get home everyday, they are furry, soft and extremely comfortable.

Ugg slippers

The Coquette UGG

Yep, I know I am going to make you all soooo jealous, I was sent a pair of Coquette UGG slippers to review. I was cursing the snow because they delayed the arrival of these beauties but it was well worth the wait. Can you tell I like these, a lot?

Made from sheepskin these slippers have a hard sole making them suitable for indoor and outdoor use.

The slippers came packaged in a sturdy brown 100% material recycled box. I am a size 5/6 and although the box says a UK 6.5/ EU 39 they fit perfectly. Furry and soft inside they are easy to wear with or without socks. The hard base feels sturdy but in a very comfortable way. When I take my shoes off and put the slippers on I feel as though I am slipping on a pair of slippers but if I needed to go outside quickly they would be waterproof (the soles) and hardwearing enough to cope. However, these slippers are going nowhere near the garden, oh no! I have also seen the puppy eyeing them up so they have a special secret place I hide them when I go out… 😉 When it is really cold my feet still feel a little chilly at times but when we had that warmer spell last week they were extremely snug and warm.

Ugg Slippers

Now I have to point out that these slippers are the ultimate in luxury slippers because they are quite expensive. £100. I have been accustomed in the past to some very nice things but even for me I had a sharp intake of breath at the price. However, I did a little research, and it seems that everyone I spoke to thought that they are worth it, for the duel use; indoors and outdoors, for the comfort and also bearing in mind the number of hours we all tend to spend in our slippers so perhaps we should all be investing in something with a more substantial sole rather than a flimsy one that falls apart after six months. I have to agree and whilst I can’t vouch for their longevity yet I have heard these slippers last a very long time.

So basically I highly recommend these, I really do look forward to putting them on at the end of the day, I don’t feel embarrassed when I answer the door now ( before I had bright pink indestructible rubber ones *cough* *goes red*)my feet feel snug and cosy and I feel pampered.

I give these slippers a big big 5/5 cupcakes award! Love them!
