Give me cold wine!

It’s no secret, I love a glass of wine. Red it has to be room temperature, rose and white it has to be chilled.

“Would you like to review a wine chiller?” I got asked. “Hell yes” I thought already mentally working out where I would put my new piece of now essential furniture.

Then it arrived, it was just a little smaller than I imagined.

And rather, errr interesting looking. In fact it was a corkcicle that aims to “perfectly chill wine, every time. Chilling wine from the inside of the bottle to maintain perfect drinking temperatures.”

Simply freeze the giant reusable  ice lolly, place in a chilled bottle of wine until finished with, then wash and refreeze ready for the next time.

Firstly it does what it says on the box and certainly a much cheaper and more space efficient way of chilling wine than my first thoughts of a wine chiller. Secondly it is a centre piece talking point. It is fun, looks good and can be used over and over again. At £19.99 it makes a great present and I already have two requests from family members for one.

The only negative I can find is that it drips at the end whilst pouring a glass of wine, other than that it is a great, fun little chiller that I think most wine lovers would make great use of.

Wines are something which is used for celebrations. Everyoe loves the taste of wine. There are certain wines which are preferred chilled. Cold wines are not used mostly but some wines tastes better if they are cold.
