Are you a Dingbats whiz?

July 4, 2012 · 1 comment

For all you quiz masters out there, how about a classic game of Dingbats? “What is Dingbats?” I hear some of you cry. It is a picture puzzle where each picture represents a word, phrase or name. If you manage to crack this puzzle you could be one of the lucky winners of a competition being run by John Lewis to win a portable kettle barbeque. We will have a summer, we will, we will and a summer isn’t complete without the obligatory barbeque, even if you have to shelter under an umbrella whilst burning those sausages and burgers! What a fab barbeque this is too, I love the colour and it’s size means you can put it in the boot of the car.

So, what’s the catch? There isn’t one…Look at the image below which is based around John Lewis products and work out what British song hit it represents. Click HERE to go to the entry form where you will find details of other blogs hosting more competitions to win barbeques, picnic sets and deckchairs.

Any ideas?

I don’t think I’ll be representing any quiz teams anytime soon…I haven’t got a clue what the song could be so I hope you have better luck…and if you do win the barbeque maybe you could invite us around for dinner one day. :)

The terms and conditions of the competition can be found here and the competition closes on Sunday 15th July 2012. Sorry this competition is only open to UK entrants.

John Lewis have kindly given me a voucher for hosting the competition.
