Kymera wand – the ultimate gift for those that have it all

What do you give someone that has it all? A Kymera wand of course. Made by The Wand Company it is the ultimate present for the gadget geek or budding wizard.

Beautifully presented and packaged this wand puts all of Hogwarts teachers and pupils wands to shame. I have to admit to a little stomach flip when I first saw it. Can you imagine receiving this in the post? How exciting!

Unbeknown to me, my daughter (who wishes so much that she was fully fledged wizard) has HANKERED after this wand for the last year after seeing it on Dragon’s Den.

But what does this wand do? Can you turn people into toads or magic up a three course dinner with it? Unfortunately no, but you can wow your friends by magically controlling the television or stereo with your wand.

Once the wand is programmed it can do a total of thirteen movements but budding wizards be aware that each movement takes a little practise, after all magic skills don’t happen overnight. With each little movement the television channel can be changed or the volume turned up, the television guide can be accessed or you can even turn the television off.

Here is my daughter programming the wand

Unfortunately the wand can only be programmed for one appliance at a time but it is easy to program and remember the movements. The instructions are beautifully presented on parchment like paper and in keeping with the mystical feel of the wand giving even more into the experience.

Here is Big C controlling the television with the wand

This is a very cool and entertaining way to control technology and for the person that has it all makes the perfect gift, and at £49.95 I think it is reasonably priced for what it does. We are very impressed here although my daughter is still hoping that she will get her invite to Hogwarts in the post any day.

I have this, but could never get it to work. Think I need to be more patient or maybe I’m too old for this wizardry x

What a shame…we had no problems at all. I’m sure wizardry is for all ages. ;)

It’s great isn’t it. I can imagine many people in their element wowing all the guests or their children with their magic skills. ;)
