We were asked to review the Chicago Town X-Factor pizza and as every Friday is traditionally pizza night in our house we were pleased to try something different for a change. However, pizza night can be any night and what better night to eat an X factor pizza than on a Saturday whilst watching X factor itself!
The pizza takes between 18 and 30 minutes to cook depending on which type of oven you use. We have aga so the pizza was cooked in that. Unfortunately our pizza didn’t quite come out looking like this, I may have overcooked it a little. *blush*
The pizza was a bit spicy for the younger children however seventeen year old H liked it. I thought it was really good, I especially liked the pepperoni and the red onions which gave a slightly sweet taste to the pizza. I wasn’t so sure about the BBQ sauce stuffed crust but then I have never had a stuffed crust pizza before so it was a new experience. The dough was nice and not overpowering at all staying in the background allowing the toppings to be the star of the show. The toppings were more than generous and covered virtually the whole pizza. With the addition of some garlic bread this pizza would make a good meal for three or four people.
Would I buy it again?
Yes I would, for myself and H.
