I am very excited to be hosting my very first carnival, a celebration of Christmas baking!
So dust off those recipes, get baking and tell everyone about them. They can be new recipes, old ones, pretty ones or inventive ones.
If you have a last minute Christmas cake or Christmas pudding recipe you would like to share we would love to see it. Or it could be a special Christmas biscuit recipe. It would also be lovely to have recipes from around the world. Any baking for children or done by children would be lovely to see so that I can get my children baking in the Christmas holidays.
I will be hosting the carnival on Monday 6th December so that we all have time to bake the tempting recipes. Please could you post them on your blog and then send me the link, preferably by Saturday 4th December so that I have time to prepare the Carnival. It would be lovely if you could link the posts back to this Christmas Baking Carnival one but If you don’t have time to add a new recipe then I’m more than happy to accept ‘oldish’ posts too. I know this is a busy time of year for us all.
I’m really looking forward to seeing what you all come up with and I hope lots of you will join in. It would be great if you could.
If you would like to display the Christmas Baking Carnival badge here is the code for it:
<div align="center"><a href="http://cherishedbyme.com" title="Christmas Baking Carnival"><img src="http://cherishedbyme.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/Christmas-Baking-Carnival2.jpg" alt="Christmas Baking Carnival" style="border:none;" /></a></div>
So you have two weeks to get those posts in. My email address can be found on the contact page or on the badge in the sidebar. Get baking!

Hello, I’ve got a delicious christmas cake recipe which I will gladly reveal. It just needs to be made 3 days before you want to eat it, and it takes 10 minutes to put together. I know it’s tough reminding people, but maybe if you add something to this thread on the weekend of the bake off, we’ll all be notified by email and will remember to send our recipes/links in.

That would be great. I look forward to. I will try and remind you too.
How about some Thanksgiving baking?
Sounds good….though I’m not doing the carnival until 6th December. Don’t forget to give me the post link.
Do I actually have to bake it?? Or can I just tell you about it? Because I really don’t know if I’m up for all that baking – but I have loads and loads of recipes. I may not cook – but I do love to bake!

Well…..would be nice to have a picture but if not just do a post that will be fine. Thank you, I look forward to reading it Gigi. X
This sounds like a lovely idea! Would it be too much to ask for a small daily reminder…a teeny tiny one? I really want to do this but am afraid I will forget with all the homeschooling stuff going on. Okay…so I’m off to write a reminder note on my fridge!
